Today there's a huge water shortage in many parts of subsaharan Africa. Deforestation for firewood and charcoal has been the cause of dusty winds, aridity water shortages and famine. The Covid-19 pandemic has made it worse. People are required to constantly wash hands but others have no water and of course they can't even afford sanitizers!
