TECHNOLOGY IMPACTS MY BUSINESS

Technology has changed my life in a broad way. Using technology in business and personal life, has improved my means of digital communication. With apps like Facebook, Twitter, Skype, Instagram and others, communication has become easier at business level. With the help of technology, supplying products to customers have become easier for me. Also technology has helped me to gain much market outlet by advertising my product on the social media platforms. It also facilitates quick and timely delivery. In the world of today where there are so many fraudulent people out there, it become difficult to fully make use of the technologies that I have at my disposal. The greatest barrier I face, is winning the trust of online customers because most at time one or two of them have been a victim of scam through online business so this make them scared of trusting online buying. With this challenge I realize that it slows down the demand of my product. Faced with this challenge, I try as much as possible to instill trust in the customers and make sure I delivered products on time so they don’t get worried and discouraged. Moreover, most customers are scared of the kind of product they might receive when they purchase their product online. This is so because most at times some individuals and company advertise what they cannot produce. For example you see a product online and order for that product but what you actually receive is not the same quality you ordered for. This has made many people to be scared of using online platforms to purchase their product.  Also, some individuals copy the product of other people to advertise on their social media platform which they cannot produce that exact product making customers to lose faith in online marketing. To overcome this challenge I therefore make sure that whatever I advertise on my platform are solely my own products.
