It happened that in the late 80's I was 10 years of age by the time the incident happens. our next door neighbour was quite old by that time and she was looking after her grandchildren while their mothers went to the cities to look for jobs to feed the family. one night one of the toddlers got burned by boiling water from the pot by accident I would say because it was not intentional the poor child might have been hungry and grandmother might have been busy making food i believe. the poor baby burned SO bad that they needed to do a surgery that was so costly and the family could NOT afford. now some community members which were women started a campaign to safe a child safe the nation raising funds for the surgery to be paid and it was successful. the poor grandmother was grateful what the community has done for her. the impact they made,
my lesson and the reason for this campaign to be memorable is because it saved life and became the hand of help when most needed,
that was what the world needs now. which was love sweet love, and care for each other. not laughing and mocking but an act of help and compassionate.
that build compassion in me to register a organisation I called women on the frontline for us women to be on the frontline to bring change for better living and start getting skills and education and become the potential people to the society and Be fruitful to empower the up coming youth (THE FUTURE OF TOMMOROW)
