Reengineering Education for the Digital Age

The Digital imperative is challenging educators and education systems everywhere in a new nexus of culture, media and education for gender sensitive approaches to knowledge dissemination and reduce inbuilt gender and culture based biases and prejudices that are embedded in media.

This presentation explores the impact of some of these issues and how we may utilise digital technologies to emerge into a new era of intercultural understanding including devising new blended learning frameworks and educational materials and modules to accommodate diversity in the digital age through formal, informal and non formal education for lifelong learning.

In various genres of biopic, documentary, and online presentation it challenges how we perceive and stretches the limits of uses of digital media and technologies in education.
