Chandrapur is a rural district in Maharashtra state. On 30th August we organized an event there. In this event, single women and local stakeholders of local villages came to participate. Who are these single women? They are widows, women who deserted by husband and women who didn't marry.
These women do not have rights to property. We are empowering them to fight for their property rights. We have just started the process by meeting them and mobilizing them. We will keep on our efforts and share here the progress. Our aim is to see all these women become legal owners of their property and land and government schemes.
