The Voice Within

Once upon a time in a quiet village, there lived a girl named Amina. She was known for being kind and smart, but painfully shy. She never spoke in front of crowds, even though she had the brightest ideas. At school, during debates or presentations, she would shrink into her chair, convinced that her voice didn’t matter.

One day, a guest speaker visited the school—a famous author who had grown up in the same village. After her speech, she asked if anyone had questions. The room was silent. Amina felt a fire in her chest she had a question, a big one, but fear held her back.

Then the author said something that struck her deeply:

“The world doesn’t need loud voices. It needs true ones. Speak not because you're fearless, but because your words matter.”

With trembling hands, Amina raised her own. Her voice shook at first, but she asked her question. The author smiled and said,

“That’s one of the best questions I’ve ever received.”

From that day on, Amina spoke more. Not to impress others, but to express what was inside her. And slowly, her confidence grew not because she was perfect, but because she finally believed that her voice deserved to be heard.

Moral: Confidence isn’t about being the loudest. It’s about trusting the value of your voice, even when it shakes.
