My voice is unique, creative, powerful, empowered, and supportive. I want to be a correspondent because women’s voices are being silenced in this country on a daily basis and the world needs to hear our stories and know that we are not putting our arms down but rather working together to build a better future for our families, we are not just victims, we are strong women! Honest, strong, solutions-based journalism will help my community to raise awareness about the hidden stories of women and girls that don’t get to be in the big newspapers.
